"24 Months and 63 Days"
Original, acoustic, solo release, September 2007

24 Months and 63 days

This intimate-music project closes a very personal and powerful chapter in the artist's life. Since moving to Ohio the Summer of 2005, this music has been inspired by the experiences of reconnecting with family and of the final days spent with her adopted father. Featuring simple melodies entertwined with heartfelt lyrics and acoustic-slide and folk-style guitar.

"One listen to her latest CD, '24 Months and 63 Days' is all it takes to figure out Little Mary is serious about her music . . . 'Huzzy Shuffle' offers a carefree change of pace but most of the powerful songs on the album such as 'Father's Day' and 'Recovering the Child' draw on her experiences in Ohio over the past several years." - Don Thrasher, Dayton Daily News

"Throughout this CD, Little Mary eschews the blues band sound of her last studio CD and goes the unplugged route. Her acoustic guitar skills, especially on 'Lay 'Em Down' are the perfect accompany to her honey-aged voice. She lays her heart bare and the result is music that is a true piece of art." - JR Wolfe, Independent Writer

CD "This disk - recorded live in Denver, Boulder and Evergreen, Colorado - provides a good sampling of the energy and playfulness that her fans enjoy and have come to expect.

Little Mary is a powerful vocalist, who can shout the blues or go soft and sultry, and the band - Bret Billings, Fred Wolking, Chris Sutliff and Brian McClure - supports her with a foundation of tight rhythm and smokin' leads. The opener, "Hound Dawg", is based on the Big Mama Thornton version and sets the tone for everything that follows - sassy and suggestive, with an obvious respect for the music's history. 'Turtle Blues', 'Drownin' on Dry Land' and 'Better' are my favorites."
