Saturday, May 31st, 2008, Riverscape, downtown Dayton, Ohio. The weather was amazing, the sound was incredible (thank you to 'Monica and Pat' on sound) and the staff at Riverscape made the band feel like royalty. The Gem City Soulshakers rocked the crowd for this special event, backing up Little Mary with the professional sound her fans have come to expect. Thank you to Mike Jordan on Keyboards, Tim Arnold on Guitar, Mike Ahlers on Percussion and Martin Romie, Bass and band direction. Saturday, June 7, 2008, Main Street Music and Arts Fest, Middletown, Ohio. The rainy conditions did not keep those die-hard music fans away! Held at Governor's Square and featuring some of the region's most talented, ecclectic and original musicians and songwriters. Special thanks to Jimmy Rogers for sharing his raging piano and vocal talents and to Rob of AlphaDawg Records and to Uncle Daddy and the Family Secret for showing Middletown that there is more music in the world then what mainstream radio attempts to feed us! Eden Theatrical Workshop has provided a nurturing and supportive environment to young actors and musicians in the Denver Community for over 45 years. Founder, Ms. Lucy Walker, claims she will retire soon . . . (but we don't believe her!). Senior Wellness Workshop event at Manual High School, 1700 East 28th Avenue at Williams Street, Denver. Guest Speaker, Jim McNally former Manual teacher and school historian. Guest Panel, the Center for Hearing, Speech and Language.
