'Little Mary and the Tom Cats' take their first road trip together! Thank you to the management and staff of the 'ScootnBlues' in Durango, Colorado for a great weekend (June 14th, 15th, and 16th). The weekend's line-up featured Joe Day on Drums, Tim Mahoney on Guitar, Ron Wright on Piano and Organ, and Lynn Tucker on Bass (filling-in for Scott Wigen).
Special thanks to Durango-area radio station, KIQX. Simone and Candi interviewed Little Mary and Tim Mahoney on Friday, June 15th, and also played a cut from Little Mary and the Tom Cats' new promotional CD. What a great town! Thank you to the ScootnBlues and KIQX, and especially to all of the Durango music fans who filled the house three nights in a row!

Thank you to the Colorado Blues Society (CBS) for the opportunity to perform at these recent events:

  • Denver Blues and Bones - Back Porch Stage; May 26th and May 27th.
On Saturday and Sunday afternoon, Little Mary performed "unplugged" on this CBS stage. Bret Billings (of the HIBEAMS) joined Little Mary, playing dobro-guitar and harmonica. It was also an honor to share the same stage with Ben Stevens, Al Chesis and Rich Reno, A.J. Salas, Bobby Avstreih, Dave Booker, Randall Dubis and Mojo Red (with Jimmy Seville).
  • Also, Excelsior Youth Center, May 23rd . This private event featured Little Mary and the Tom Cats, and a special acoustic performance by Little Mary and Tim Mahoney. This was truly a room full of classy ladies, who love their live music! Little Mary would like to thank everyone for sharing their heartfelt stories and visions.
To the ladies of Excelsior, "Follow your dreams! And remember to be gentle with those who may not understand you . . .".

Special thanks to Lonigan's and the supporters of Victim Advocates for "Diva Delight" on June 6th. Bruce, owner/manager of Lonigan's, truly outdid himself on this event. Throughout the evening the professional emcee skills of Marla Stone introduced and inspired a wide range of female artists. The evening included live performances by:
The Trainwreckers (Jodi and Jami),
Pat Travis,
Blue Roux,
Rosemary (the Celtic Lady),
Nicole and Union Break,
The Blues Princess (Diane),
Liz Barnez,
Little Mary,
and many, many more.
Thank you to Marsha Rothschild for all of her hard work in putting this event together. The combined efforts of the above listed helped to raise over $6,000.00 for the Estes Valley Victim Advocates Group.

Have a wonderful Summer . . .
We'll see YOU at the NEXT show!
